Un(Ph)azed

Crumbling

every ounce of salt pored into my pores

which once were open and from them seaped energy of light

only to find its way onto your life through droplets.

As you grew,

I melted,

and all that was within me

was no more.

Lacking reciprocation

made the facade less delightful,

and like the feather kissing the sun…

I died blazing.
